Yeah different materials, form, and laces

Those original colour ways that never came out were godly

do you think they tamed them down so it wouldnt deter too much of their target market?

Considering how absolutely ridiculous the shoe cost at retail it was definitely on track to be pushing 600+ if they released in that sample state with the alternate higher quality materials, expensive leathers, bulkier shoe etc

Glad they’ve taken prices down, I got quantums in yesterday and the quality is insane given their retail price

What is this thread talking about?

What does "architecture is frozen music" mean?

    Am I missing something?

What it basically means is what kind of music does a certain building/object remind you of. Like if you see a 15th century gothic cathedral, what music do you think of vs a minimalist modern apartment in NY

    It comes from the Greeks.

We usually associate concepts like rhythm to the arts of time (music, poetry...) and concepts like proportion to the arts of space (architecture, painting...) but the Greeks didn’t care about these distinctions. For them, there are proportions in time and rhythm in space.

Kanye West has claimed that he studied all that s*** and that having synesthesia has helped him.

I just started getting into it. I’m currently reading The Geometry of Art and Life by Matila Ghyka.
