"No one likes a damn snitch" is also not true but I understand why you said that in relation to OP.
However, people like snitches when they're the party benefiting from it. They also get called whistle blowers in other circuits. It also doesn't change the fact that most people who complain about snitching have some weird relation to criminal culture

What really happens is young goofy niggas really be believing that this whole "no snitching" s*** is the law of the land.... When really it's just so criminals can deadass beat and Rob us and then get away with no consequences.
If it really was to protect our own and serve our own street justice then that would be fine. The problem is that we don't ever serve justice to our own. We just f*** each other. And then punish the victims if they "snitch".
It's a goofy outdated system that promotes this crab in a barrel mentality that's seen in every lower income black community across America.

You know how silly it is to see my 30+ almost 40 year old brothers talking about street code.
You know how many times my name has come up in "real street" nigga's paperwork.
When these d*** dealers get caught, they throw out every name they can think of to place responsibility on anybody else.
Off the top I can think of 2 times where my name was a part of a d*** trafficking investigation.... Bruh... One was a nigga who i knew since high school but hadn't seen in YEARS. The second was an up and coming rapper ... The moment we got pulled by cops and they found something in my middle console (which he put there out of fear of getting caught) he straight up told the cop "9 tenths of possession goes to the owner of the car.
Even knowing that I was about to catch a felony. I stayed quiet because I believed in "street protocol". So I gave him like $900 cash to bail me out and I gave him my phone so that I could call him. My bail ended up coming down to like $2000 which meant I only needed $200 to get out. When I tried to call my phone it was turned off. I never got bailed out. Nigga spent all my money on a hotel and d**** and got my underage friend pregnant.

Funny that they actually coincidentally were threatening to kill me and shoot up my mom's house. Even put a knife to my throat one of the last times I saw them. Part of the reason why I moved away and swore to stay away from that life.

Ok. Street code or street protocol is just a bunch of BS. A bunch of 30 - 40 year old grown ass men living in low income apartments. They prey on young naive black kids who idolize the tropes and stereotypes that they've heard in rap music since they were born.

Off the top I can think of 3/4 times I've had a gun put to my head. Been robbed numerous times. Gotten beat up over goofy ass s***.

For black people to break this cycle white people imposed on us, we need to be educating kids from the jump when their 8, 9 years old maybe even earlier about the horrors of d*** dealing and gang s***. And I also believe that kids should not be going to school in their hood. They need to see what life is like outside of their neighborhood early and that way the toxic environmental factors in their neighborhood doesn't destroy their lives as easily as it would be if they just spend their entire childhood only seeing their own streets.
