One thing that struck me in the Westside Gunn IG live is that he was saying the album sounded “crazy”.

Back in TLOP Pusha T and Keyon Christ said that about the album too, and we know from the snippets Keyon posted like OG FML and from when Arcade Fire played Feedback for the first time in a DJ set.

“Ye” was supposed to be political and left field but because of backlash he changed it like a few days out.

And everyone keeps talking about Yandhi and tracks like Sky City, Alien, and OG Law of Attraction were so good.

Kanye seems to like experimenting with new sounds but eventually always dials it back for the general release which I think is a mistake. I would love to hear an album where he just goes all out crazy like Yeezus again.

Since Yeezus actually. There is a whole other version of the album with way more production according to Rick Rubin.

Yea that’s true too, and remember when they played Yeezus 2 at a hotel in the UK that was described as “hellish and ground shaking”?

I remember a Pusha T interview when he says that Kanye would make a beat for him and perfection it to the point Pusha loves it so he can drop great bars over it. And after he gets the awesome bars and Pusha is happy with the song, Kanye would change the whole beat into some weird s***. I think Pusha was talking about Lunch Money.

    The curse of the Perfectionist

Cause he's inherently maximalist but wants to produce minimalist content

Kanye hasn't put out an classic since "MBDTF"

    Some can argue "Yeezus".

Give me timeless beats & bars dammit. That's what every fan wants.

I miss talking to people asking them "Have you heard thus new Ye? Dude's the GOAT!" etc.

I'll always check into his s***, but he's washed (to me).

I really hope he doesn't s*** out another gospel record. I mean, give us the s*** that made you great, without cursing.
