It's not really clear, but based off what I've pieced together, this is what I came up with.

Q did everything he could to make the opposite of Blank Face LP because he wasn't happy with the album sales and ticket sales. He thought it was because the album didn't "hit" like Oxymoron did. So his solution was to do the opposite to everything on Blank Face. Like how the majority of beats on Blank Face were boom bap, CrasH Talk was mainly trap. Like how Blank Face was full of well thought out lyrics, CrasH Talk was mostly full of repetitive generic phrases. He thought that's what the people wanted.

He had also made 2-3 completely different albums before CrasH Talk and he was told to go back to the drawing board because they sounded "depressing" and too much like Blank Face which is what he didn't want.

He complained about Blank Face not being big enough commercially and not having enough people at his shows only for Crash Talk to not have any track be as big as That Part. Oxymoron was a better executed commercial album than Crash Talk.

Well Oxy was ultimately the perfect balance between Blank Face and CrasH Talk.

Blank Face was more like the slower introspective tracks on Oxy like Hoover Street and Break The Bank.

And CrasH Talk was more like the hype upbeat tracks like What They Want and Studio.

That’s actually not true, the entire album aside from Chopstix was complete before he died and Mac heard it in the studio in person with Q.

Mac even had adlibs on CrasH.

My favorite Q project easily and the only one I ever made it through in full. Dude was always too hyper and annoying for me like babysitting a wild kid so I liked how he was more laid back
