Been watching so many clips. Going back to play skate 3 and they really did a great job improving the animations on skate 4. It all looks so fluid, bouncy, naturalistic, lifelike. Makes it kinda hard to go back visually. Haven’t played skate 4 so maybe it doesn’t play as good as it looks.

I saw someone saying in terms of pure ASMR brain off video game feel of how it plays, they reached another level, but everything else needs work. And with the free to play nonsense, it can be improved

the gameplay is definitely fun and the fact we can finally do s*** like 1080 flips is dope. apart from transition skating i think the gameplay is near perfect

they recently did something to the running/pushing speed which i‘m not a fan of but other than that i really can’t complain about the gameplay

edit: nvm one thing i also don’t like is how difficult it is to get out of grinds sometimes, but that can easily be fixed i assume

Its going public in a couple of weeks. Iirc all the invite waves are over. You had to have signed your friends up when you signed up. So even if you could, the reapplication time would take so long it'd be out already for them.
