So what did they change besides graphics

from what i've seen just putting like 15 mins in

• bunch of changes to the map. added some slides and stuff on top of things, new benches and plants around

• a new store full of clothes, stickers, board stuff etc called the zine, with a new currency attachd

• new objective markers on the new skate areas that give you the new currency

• textures on the clothes have improved

• animations look nicer but that might just be a placebo effect

Being free-to-play (and in early access) doesn’t make it immune to criticism, but some did go ham with their dissatisfaction of it

After all that long wait since 2020’s announcement, there was a certain expectation that this new game would at least match the previous Skate games and so that seemed like the bare minimum to attain, and clearly Full Circle didn’t meet that expectation.

But like we’ve already mentioned, it being f2p and in EA means it was always going to be a different kind of product compared to the old Skates. The fact that they’re not even calling it Skate 4 is pretty telling.

I like having music in the game because I like having the audio mixed in with the game sounds. Not fiddling with my system audio, Spotify audio, and game audio all at the same time. I don't wanna mute the entire game just for the music, and I don't want my music barely audible and not reacting to what's happening on screen. And I mean, the soundtrack was chosen for the game for a reason. I like getting put onto new things/experiencing the game how it was meant to be

That's why games with custom soundtrack mods are GOAT, cuz you can go back and forth

The seasonal challenges don’t even change/reset

Bros gave us 7 challenges and dipped for 55 days

apparently if you wanna cop the dead space suit it ends up being like 40 bucks worth of currency, battle pass full of garbage too

battle pass system is such trash. i should just be able to rank it up by doing whatever but you have to earn the stupid currency through the daily/weekly/seasonal tasks. if you dont click claim on that s*** do you lose out on the currency too?

all problems and bullshittery aside, once i turn off all music and voices and blast the tony hawk soundtrack in the background this is a s*** mega ton of fun

yeah im addicted to it. something real brain off asmr 10/10 satisfying to just finish the daily challenges while listening to music + the sound effects. the actual way it plays and the skate animations just dont get old. landing the simplest line correctly is crack
