DONDA was all about the rollout, the listening parties, the streaming numbers, the outfits, stomping on Drake's summer again, the all star lineup of rapists and abusers he leaned on for creative inspiration and spiritual guidance
the album played second fiddle
for you.
So why don’t other artists do the same thing lol?
Should be very obvious but they're not billionaires, they don't have the cultural cache Kanye has built up through his career, they don't have all the industry connections and the buzz, Kanye's huge at the moment but him attaching himself to new popping acts has always been part of his popularity
I mean the plan worked, it's not a shock when you have a summer of attention seeking listening parties, do all those gimmicks and shenanigans along the way, call in anyone with some buzz, that's of course gonna be successful
why is ‘attention seeking’ a bad thing when it’s a listening party promoting an album
surely you want a lot of attention on that and I think it worked, with a lot of people loving that rollout
What if this isn't him trolling but him ending the beef? "Skete Davidson is Dead" meaning that the nickname "Skete" is dead and Ye will from now on call him by his real name

Kill mary f***
Pete davidson

Elvis presley
Your obsession with Elvis is unhealthy. Find yourself a man or woman, I beg.

Copium. It’sjust getting started

its not a bad thing but that's why DONDA sold more than the others did this year, besides of course a changing streaming landscape
It's exciting like a car crash but I see the appeal in a tasteful rollout like Kendrick or Drake or Beyonce even if its boring and not so engaging and more just letting the music speak for itself
