i feel every cleanser ive ever used has been too much

maybe make sure it’s a water based cleanser the oil based ones can be too drying for some

What’s the last one you used, and what do you mean by “too much”? Does your skin feel super dry and tight after?

i have literally the most generic cvs cetaphil facial cleanser. makes my face feel very dull and it sucks up every bit of moisture.

i also use the same brand for facial moisturizer. my setup is not ideal atm

that one is pretty decent, used it for a while

try cerave hydrating cleanser if u feel like everything is drying u out, it doesn't really foam tho so it might not feel as "clean" as other ones

if you’re using the regular daily cetaphil cleanser it might be too much, they have a gentle cleanser that is less stripping and it doesn’t do enough for my oily combination skin. cerave hydrating cleanser gets really good feedback i’ve never seen a professional i respect recommend an expensive cleanser btw

for yall that exercise later in the day, do you just do your nighttime skincare routines post-workout shower? I’m assuming washing your face three times a day is too much

my night routine has tretinoin in it (intense retinoid) so i keep it to night only. you don’t wanna strip your skin of too much oils and s*** by using a foam cleanser more than 2x

this seems expensive but i find it so hard to find a daily spf that doesn’t feel heavy on my face everything feels so thick and heavy so this might actually be worth it
