had painful lips for the past 2-3 months and its been unexplainable. tried all kinds of lipbalms and nothing worked.
but i just figured out what the issue was. it was my damn mustache harboring microscopic dirt. which was causing microtears on my lips. my lips were being scrubbed 24/7
shaved down mustache for 2 days and the pain is almost gone.
the ordinary and paulas choice really the goat brands for skincare, changed the game for me completely a couple years ago and im still on it

That’s a cyst being built up, don’t touch it you’ll make it worse. If you have some BHA, apply a dab on it, let it dry & slap on a hydrocolloid patch.

No, that’s not a spot treatment it won’t do anything for you.

oh well at least the burning sensation feels like its doing something

Yeah it’s doing something called irritation. I’d honestly wash that off and just let it be. Get some pimple patches from the d*** store, they’re like $6 and that should help somewhat and will prevent you from touching it skin on with bacteria infested fingers.
Would recommend getting either PC BHA or benzoyl peroxide for spot treatment.
Has anyone tried tea tree oil? My mom used to love the stuff when I was a kid but I heard its good for skin

Cosrx patches are lifesavers. Slap one on after the BHA like he said

Yeah, tea tree oil is great for spot treatments, just make sure you dilute it if you’re using 100% because it’s very potent.

@Campari I had a few questions if you don’t mind answering. I want to start taking my routine seriously, I was originally using some random Lush products but want to switch up. This is the routine I was thinking about doing, thoughts?
Cleanser - YTTP Superfood Cleanser
Exfoliant - PC 2% BHA
Toner - Tea Tree Water
Serum - Drunk Elephant C-Firma
Moisturizer - ?
Sunscreen - La Roche 50
For more context I have combination skin with acne scars I want to clear up
Also, do I need to add eye cream or face masks to my routine? I’m not sure what moisturizer to get yet either

Hey! The products all look great. I'd personally replace the toner with an essence, specifically the Hada Labo Gokujyun Premium Lotion. Tea tree is a great spot treatment ingredient but can be quite abrasive if used as a primary toner day and night.
I don't use eye creams nor do I believe in them, if you have healthy and nourishing set of ingredients across your routine, there's no need to spend $50 for an eye cream. Niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, arbutin and all brightening ingredients will work anywhere on the face.
Face masks are a great tool to sort of pack a bunch of highly effective ingredients and give you a potent treatment in one time. I used to do them all the time but i figured out, everything I need from a mask should already be given to my by my routine everyday. That being said, it doesn't hurt to have a hydrating mask and a treatment mask.
The two I have are:
As for moisturizer, I prefer a light coat in the summer time so I've been using the PC Omega+, I think you'll like it because it's super smooth and packed with wonderful and beneficial properties.
Just a quick note, the YTTP cleanser is highly rated & i've heard great things about it but it does contain fragrance in there, if that matters to you.
