definitely add in an spf my g itās the most important step
Sunscreen overrated tbh no way the "most important" step is to try and block our connection to the literal source of life.
might get retinol too in the form of Cacay oil.
is this OD if i already use a face wash, toner, eye serum, vitamin c serum and moisturizer???
need a reason to get it
Of course not, if you ain't at 10 steps you ain't poppin.
all my stuff is here. starting tomorrow morning. very excited but nervous. im so clueless when it comes to this stuff. idk the does and don't. plus the things I mentioned about my work
Awesome! Just a quick note, if you do incorporate a BHA & notice breakouts, youāre going through whatās called āpurgingā. Itās the process of the product practically going deep into your skin and cleaning the excess sebum, dirt & oil and bringing it all to the surface.
Donāt be discouraged, just limit the use a little to let your skin adapt. If you ever have any questions, feel free to ask!
For anyone on Retin-A who is looking to incorporate an active in their day routine, I highly recommend you look into Azelaic Acid.
Glycolic & Salicylic Acid are way too powerful to use in the day and be followed up by Retin-A in the night. Thereās been studies done and theyāve found out that 20% Azelaic Acid does a wonderful job of reducing lesions and can be as effective as 0.05% Tretinoin without the side effects usually found in the latter.
Iāve been using PCās 10% Azelaic Acid & itās been great for me. The two products together are a dynamic duo!

although vitamin d is vital sunscreen ensures we also stay protected from the suns harmful rays, sunscreen helps fight skin cancer and helps with hyperpigmentation. It is very important.

No, theyāll be just as effective donāt worry!
So your day routine should be:
The BHA should be incorporated in the night & always make sure to apply SPF the morning after as your skin will become sensitive. Like I said before though, donāt overdo the BHA, use it 2-3 times a week max. Once your skin gets comfortable, you can add in an extra day.
To answer your question, yes do that routine day and night minus the BHA in the morning & SPF at night.

skin never felt this soft in my life
cant make sense of using Retinol during my day time routine
so, got Cacay Oil for my night time routine
upon further research Rosehip oil is more effective. cancelled the order and got that instead

You been going crazy in this thread Fr bro
Wanted to ask, do you know any good alternatives to that hadalabo essence that is also kinda cheap because seems difficult to find here in the UK
Also I currently use TD 10% Lactic Acid as my exfoliant every night, would you say this is a good exfoliant to use??
I can post my routine too because I know I need some improvements on what to add, Iām tryna get that glowing skin

DOKODEMO is probably the best and cheapest site to purchase the Hada Labo essence from. It comes in a regular & premium version, the major difference is that the former has 3 kinds of hyaluronic acid compared to 5 types for the latter. The regular is cheaper if you want to save as much as possible.
As far as alternatives, The Ordinary have their "2% HA + B5" but i'm pretty sure it won't be as good. The other HA option is "Hydra Power Essence" from COSRX. I'd personally recommend the "Advanced 96% Snail Mucin" from COSRX if you're strictly looking for hydration and plumpness.
Lactic Acid is an AHA that focuses on the surface layer of the skin but if you're looking to get something stronger I'd recommend Glycolic Acid aka BHA which goes deeper into the pores - below the surface. If you're happy with your current results then by all means continue!

Wow appreciate it bro, you a goat
Gonna look into the snail mucin for sure and yeah tbh I might go for the glycolic acid because my skin is pretty used to the lactic acid now since Iāve been using it for a long time.
Also should I apply the mucin before the lactic acid always?
At the moment, I use vitamin C during my day routine and then the lactic acid for my night routine, how do you rate vitamin C serum?
Thanks again bro!

Thank you for the kind words fam!
No, the mucin and any essence should be used after the acids. Think of it like taking a shower, the exfoliation is like cleansing yourself and even though you're clean, you still need to apply lotion once you get out to hydrate your body & to prevent it from being dry. The mucin packs all the good hydrating properties into your skin after the treatment.
Vitamin C is nice, I currently don't have it in my routine though. I get my glow, firmness and brightness from other products. The two i've used are the Drunk Elephant C-Day Firma which is costly and oxidizes quicker than I'd like. The other is a Japanese one called Melano CC which I thoroughly enjoyed. It's very cheap, does not oxidize - which is very rare - and is used more of a spot treatment so it lasts a long time.
Hey fam so Iāve been neglecting skincare a while and itās getting to a point where my breakouts just stay for weeks sometimes š„ can anyone point me in the right direction for a starter routine? My face gets dry really quick and right now Iāve just been using a salycilic acid facial wash as well as a SPF moisturizer, which clearly aināt enough I guess
