Hey fellas - can anyone suggest an effective acne scaring treatment/product?

Had a really bad acne flare-up last month which is now, thankfully, under control

However some of the scaring is still quite apparent, what do you suggest to lessen it?

When is LRP restocking Anthelios? I'm now 100% convinced that it's the only european sunscreen worth buying but every site I've checked either has it sold out or it's too overpriced

    Major ingredients:

Maqui: The most antioxidant dense fruit in the world. This rare superberry helps combat free radicals. Acai: Rich in omega 3, 6, and 9 fatty acids that help to revive dull, dry skin. Prickly Pear: Extremely hydrating. Helps ease signs of redness. Goji: Rich in antioxidants, essential fatty acids and vitamins C, and E. Helps soften the appearance of fine lines and combat free radicals.

One of my favourite discoveries this year has been the YTTP’s Superberry Hydrate + Glow Oil. It has some fragrance so I don’t use this all the time - but when I do, this is simply incredible. If you have healthy skin, this will literally make you look like a walking Snapchat filter, your skin radiates. I run this on dates with some Baccarat Rouge 540 & it’s so dangerous, get compliments instantly!

So I breezed through this thread and made my own lil routine after seeing what was recommended and what I think will work for me, I have pretty dry skin and I dont get pimples often, I mostly have acne scars and hyper-pigmentation, so I copped these products.

    • Cleanser: CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser
    • Essence: COSRX Snail Mucin Power Essence
    • Moisturizer: PC Omega+ Complex Light Moisturizer

Is there anything I should pick up? I know I need a decent sunscreen so lob me some recs, but should I get a chemical exfoliant as well? and what are some weekly face masks you guys recommend? thanks

If you’re battling hyperpigmentation and acne scars then I’d definitely recommend PC 2% BHA + a sunscreen you like. I personally swear by the ROHTO Skin Aqua (Blue Bottle).

I’d prefer you had gone with the Hada Labo Gokujyun Premium Lotion if you wanted to moisten up the dry skin because it has 5 types of hyaluronic acid but the 96% Snail Mucin is solid.

I don’t do masks too often nowadays but the two I love applying to get an extra boost are the I’m From Honey Mask for smoothness, brightness & radiance; TO 10% BHA & 30% AHA for a power cleanse & exfoliation. The former is better suited for weekly use. Do not use the latter if you’re new to chemical exfoliants.
