this game looks cool, but a AA game like this at 50 buck is never gonna sell in todays's climate, unless they they struck some real luck or if this is somehow a truly special 90+ metacritic game,that gets carried by word of mouth. This should've been a gamepass game

Yeah it's been getting bad reviews from the like 4 or 5 I had a chance to see. Unless all the rest are magically higher scores then that probably speaks to the quality. The game still looks intriguing though.

Been playing for a few hours now, game is rad as hell. Those 3-5/10 reviews are from a bunch of f***ing rubes. If you think a weird ps2 janky but unique action game would be up your alley, you will love it. Guaranteed.

What would you compare it to?

Hard to make any direct comparisons, it's very unique. The closest I can think of is that it's like an action noir version of Siren with Devil May Cry 1 combat, Sekiro parrying, and the moment-to-moment game management of a hero shooter.

Not scary at all.

There's a lot of content here (I've got over 15 hours and not done yet) and while it can get repetitive at times, it's a unique enough experience and the story is interesting enough to be worth full price imo. Still, unless you're 100% sold, maybe wait for it to hit $30
