Yeah it’s dope. I’d love to hear him fully produce some rappers’ projects
Moses Sumney + KeiyaA
Was so tight to see Sumney being a 0.05% or so Spotify listener
this rly needs to happen
MIKE x Mach is way overdue
Also think his production would complement Divino or Koncept really well.

Dean Blunt tbh, him and MIKE or Slauson. Finally checked out Blunt's 50+ track Roaches comp from last year this weekend and was thinking how his muddy/lo-fi style is honestly not that far off from stuff MIKE is doing and also reminded how he's easily one of my fav artists rn

Maybe Mach and Mavi even moreso
I also do see how some of the scene might hesitate to collab with Mach because some of his lyrics def don't quite gel with the more feminist and queer-positive leanings here tbh

If Navy and Earl can collab with Mach, then I wouldn't see why the others wouldn't.

Heard of, but never listened to Dean Blunt. But yeah I think him and Slauson could really succeed with collaborators outside of rap generally.

Dean raps too under his Babyfather moniker, some of it borders on satire, he's got a very weird delivery lol, but I genuinely enjoy it a lot.
Peep this one from last year with Vegyn prod and a John Glacier feat (she also made a tape with Jadasea last year)

And this one with Arca prod is a classic, taken from the album BBF Hosted by DJ Escrow

Otherwise Blunt's album Black Metal (title is bait) is a classic and The Narcissist II is also rly great. With him he covers a whole range of styles but basically once you're hooked on his style you'll basically enjoy everything he does

This to me does more justice to the "DJ" moniker than BLP2020 tbh, actually mostly instrumental and even dance-influenced. MIKE's range is insane, tight to see him just explore new sounds
Also that Slauson feature
love his voice so much, tight to finally see them collaborate again too

Ty for putting me on
I read his Spotify bio and was left wanting a lot more info lol
Definitely dig that second song a lot. I’ll check those projects out man

100%. Don’t know why King Of The Night was under the name tbh
He’s already so masterful at creating enthralling musical atmospheres, whether it’s WOTW (no matter what I thought about it) or this. What an artist already
