Nice listen.
Why didn't Navy use this "Ancestors" moniker for True Sky, AASB, or Half God
The project is nice. Some of the beats are super typical sounding, but they fit Camden's style. First track is my fav
Got to see Liv.e and Mike in Buffalo tonight. Got my vinyl signed and Mike talked to me about the album art for a good while.
Mike's manager was like, "that's crazy that you have that. We didn't make that many." Turns out they only made like 300 MGBYH vinyl.
Argued with Liv.e about tacos since we both from Texas. My girl was with me tho so I didn't flirt that hard
Damn. I'm sorry I'm a lil drunk. That was a great time.
Buffalo ain't that great tho. No hate

they def need to repress that s*** and release other mike albums on wax
so I went on RYM for MGBYH and found this comment:
he said he wouldnāt do a weight of the world vinyl, and given his environmentalist stances, (in which pressing vinyl would directly contradict that), itās safe to say that a repress has little to no chance of happening.
so that sucks

huh, new to me MIKE saying this. I think that user might have confused Slauson's statement on physicals with this to be MIKE's. He's still doing CD's and even lowkey promoting them with his radio... all self-made etc but not sure you can call that environmental exactly
Weight of the World CD signed by Mike, and CWTTY+ CD with custom jewel case of art by Liv.e (I think she is only selling these on tour)
Also, he did mention he had too many margaritas earlier, and asked me if I wanted him to sign it again, but I told him it was cool. Lmao
And finally, (the back of) May God Bless Your Hustle vinyl, signed by Mike. He chose to sign the back; I figure to not f*** up the album art. Also asked him to write down the location of the picture taken of his mother, so "Ikogosi Warm Springs"
The first thing he said when I gave him the record was, "wow. This is one of my favorite pictures of my favorite person ever." Not verbatim, but pretty close. It was such a heart felt conversation.
He said "she's so scary" cause she was terrified to cross that bridge, and I was like then the album title is perfect for the pic, and he told me that the album title came from his mother telling him "may god bless you hustle" all the time (that might already be well known info in this thread).
He also mentioned that that was his sister in the back, and that at this place they were, there was a tower called "Decision Tower," where you decide if you want to turn back or not, which is also the title of a Renaissance Man track

new Fly Anakin prod Evidence
āSean Price inspired me to stand on what I believe in and say whatever I feel no matter what type of beat it is,ā Fly Anakin said of Price, who passed away in 2015, and who was part of groups including Heltah Skeltah and Boot Camp Clik. āHis influence put me in the driverās seat, I grew wings and s***.ā
