I'm finishing up reading Dilla Time rn and honestly MIKE is a prime example of Dilla's "time feel" described in the book, all the different elements in his beats shuffling around and fighting against the grid. I think it explains really well why MIKE and Keiyaa dance grooves scratch such a specific itch for me
