bell hooks is high up on my read-next pile and she's just spitting straight facts in that vid, not often-acknowledged but still fairly obvious ones. The fact that these guys are doing their reading and share the knowledge is one of the big reasons I follow them lol

it's just that small but significant leaps of thought where they take stuff like bell hooks as evidence for for example their idea that black and white culture should be separated where I disagree, and I'm fairly sure bell hooks would disagree as well
