"Ideas" is a stretch. The most I'd say is Drake used a flow similar to his for the first 4 bars of the track and if he indeed contributed anything creatively, he'd have been credited.

That doesn't mean he can't grow himself. Drake grew himself but sometimes you can create great things collaboratively.

Drake can certainly give him some pointers but I think it sets a bad precedent writing songs for an artist you just signed. They should be able to do that themselves. That's the only way they'll truly grow.
