I think I saw people saying she had like a million tour dates, and wasn't used to touring all like that, so maybe thus time things will be different
This is genuinely a really great album. Not a single bad track on here. Kinda doubted it when I saw it was only 30 mins.
the ladies have been carrying indie rock these last 3 years
love this band lush has never not been in rotation
Forever (Sailing)

Good first listen but no bops found here which was a strong point on the previous album. almost like she's aware the songs last time were quite samey and wanted to deviate from it
i don't like how her vocals sound in the mix on this. they're like... too in the mix or something idk
The songs i saved to my library are
Valentine
Ben Franklin
Forever (Sailing)
Madonna
nice chill album overall
Wasn’t looking for new snail mail, but it’s a welcome surprise.
Valentine is a really pretty little album. I LOVE how her voice is maturing. It’s definitely deeper and stronger, but it still cracks and carries all the same emotion as before. This matches the depth of the songwriting, which paints a picture of the complex cycle of trying to both end and keep alive a toxic relationship with someone you still love. Automate and Madonna are particularly gut wrenching.
c Et Al is the standout track for me, im a sucker for a good acoustic track.
Ben Franklin is such a good ass song and wow don't let me start about Mia. Crazy that I know for a fact that this song will still sound insane in 10+ years. Everything about it is so well crafted one of the best closer I've heard in recent memory
