I feel like I used to be fine with him, but he's just behaving like a d***head during this press run
Nigga grew some facial hair and started acting different huh?

You f*** wit the movie? Ensemble was handed well?
very much. the casting is probably the best thing about it. everyone put the work in and I think it actually does end up being a pretty special and unique movie.
and it somehow has that like leftovers "coziness" to it. it's not perfect, and def falls short on a few scenes here and there -- but overall, I def enjoyed it
Can’t wait to check this today.
I think it’s fair to assume the closing dialogue for this movie will be “Live from New York it’s…” cut to black with “Saturday Night” title
Roll credits

Damn I wish Apprentice was playing near me smh wanted to do a double. Enjoy!
This was dope though. I think they gave the cast the right amount of air time and scenes. Bruh who played Chevy Chase killed it
This looks like such a good cast
And then there’s Nicholas Braun as Andy Kaufman lol

Yeah man — overall they nailed the entire production. Casting dept did a great job, just about everyone delivered with the time that they had — everyone was on point. Wasn’t a phenomenal movie but I hope this gets all the love that it deserves

But he was good as Andy, so good that he played another character and for a minute we didn’t even know if it was Nicholas playing a 2nd character or Andy playing a second character

Oh yeah?
Ok, I’ll reserve judgment. Tough shoes after Carrey.

I will say it’s harder to compare an entire movie (Carrey) to a couple scenes

What you think held it back from being a phenomenal movie?

I don’t think it, as a story, had the space for a real powerhouse performance from anyone OR everyone. And some of the Belushi stuff just did not hit for me, with the way they were painting him. Some parts felt weaker than others. But I def want to see it again. Been thinking about the movie pretty regularly for the past few weeks.
Had a great time with this, the cast was incredible and I loved the mesh of personalities given to the characters. No one really felt the same, and that’s quite refreshing in a tight paced movie like this. I think it works best as a comedy more then drama, the dramatic scenes felt alittle lacking aside from the scene from the trailer with Cooper Hoffman & Gabriel Labelle. It was chaotic but also entertaining and I feel like that must’ve been accurate to the time period. Nothing too crazy story wise, didn’t feel preachy or make too many winks to the audience as I expected. I had watched the first episode of SNL as lead up to this and it payed off heavily. Definitely would recommend to fans of early SNL or the time period.
8/10
This film is electric. It’s the origin of Saturday Night Love told in a fast, zippy pace that never fails to keep you entertained. The script is sharp, the performances are great, the movie looks good, and it finds a way to keep me guessing how the f*** they made it to air. Not perfect, but it also feels like something I could rewatch almost endlessly.
