MCHG is prolly his worst album next to Kingdom Come and BP3
BP3 hate is also an overreaction it was good for when it came out (aged real bad tho )
the great white hope

I knew when it dropped it was weak.
Kendrick ain't top 20 after DAMN too but y'all don't want to face reality.
In retrospect, it really wasn't a bad joint. Timbaland did his thing on production. But at the time, I remember alot of people were pretty indifferent to it and kind of wrote him off/disrespected him. Once 4:44 dropped, it was basically blasphemy to openly talk s*** about Hov. Unless you talking about "Kingdom Come" or something.
Yeah but he had No I.D. guiding him to write deeper more meaningful s*** and lacing him with some of his best beats ever
Unless Em allows himself to be under a super producer's wing in his old age it's not gonna happen..

Em doesn't have the softness to make a 4:44 lmao
not even the background for it

Nah, people think he has 4 classics. Even the one he didn't finish.
BP3 and MCHG were two mid albums back to back.
Except MCHG didnt have the Blueprint title to fool fans into thinking it was good.

Yeah Idk
During Relapse/Recovery era he had a lot to talk about.. he addressed some of it but not enough.
Now it's probably too late..

He tried with Revival. But it was a weird mix of poorly executed tracks.

True.
The only super producer Em would listen to is Dre, but Dres mission with Em was clearly finished a long time ago, and their artistic relationship isn't what it was. Plus Dre is more focused these days on helping other artists like Anderson Paak and Ye out.
Eminem hate is corny. From a technical stand point he is one of the greatest of all time
The thing about Em is that he could easily make a great/amazing album if he wanted to. He could make a introspective 10 track album with Alfredo type production from Alchemist.
But he deliberately chooses to sacrifice basically every aspect of his music aside from his lyrics. It's not like he can't make a classic, he's done it before. It's just that he chooses to push back against legitimate criticisms and do the opposite of what people want. We all know he can rap his ass off. We know he's an all time great. But being a great rapper does not equate to making great music.
the level of delusion
the level of delusion
Lmao
Eminem purposely makes trash music.
Cause it's all about the lyrics
Eminem needs to rap on like No ID production with some soulful s*** and non of that pop-rock production. He can get politico we know he can go hard talking about that but he ruins it all the time with weird music
the level of delusion
I'm not delusional. Regardless of how you feel about him, you know objectively he has the skills. He just misses that mark 90% of the time these days.
He puts overemphasis on his idea of "technicality" and it's been the detriment to his work for a long time now.

I don't think he has the voice and content for soulful beats lmao

It was bad when it dropped, but after MCHG, it seemed better by comparison.

He didnt sound bad on "Lord Above"
And that had a soulful sound to it.
I remember alot of people wrote off Jays future after MCHG.
And then BOOM! He drops 4:44 with No I.D and it's hailed an amazing album.
It's not impossible for these older artists to make something great later on down the line. Em is capable of it too.
Jay never made the level of trash music as Em from 2004-2020
Eminem literally hasn't made a good song since 2009
It's clear that early Em's quality of music came from input from Dre, Mel Man, Bass Brothers, Proof and his team
