I would never put LL in a top 10 best rappers of all time.

The rest of them are a little closer to the top 10. KRS-One especially.

LL was a beast.. one of my top legends in music all genres considered, exceeds hip hop..

    LL disrespect

I'll take Momma Said Knock You Out and Mr. Smith over any Em album

No disrespect, but if you were to compare the two there’s no contest. A vast majority of today’s artists either look up to Em or have cited him as an influence in their music. Tbh I haven’t heard the same with LL. Not to mention, sales. Despite the music being borderline trash now, Em’s still selling a s***ton of records while LL is hosting Grammys. Shows you that people are still looking out for the music and haven’t left him behind like the majority of artists from the late 90s/early 2000s. You’re one of the realest mfs on this site but I stand by what I said lol

But that's only cause his top 10 is full of 80's dudes. The same 80s dudes Em loves.

He's been with Dre for the last album and nothing great happened.

The pills helped him a lot, you can even see it when he performs or even gives interviews now.

Dre lowkey been washed musically the past decade but its okay because he gave us 20 years of great music and he hasnt been that active. Also, he wasnt even that much involved with Em last project, which tracks did he produce?

  • Jul 29, 2020

Didn’t know people still put Eminem in their Top 10s

Any true fan of hip hop will prefer playing Doggystyle, Tha Chronic, 2001 and Snoop best songs before any of Em's music.

I hear you. But at the same time.. Em's music has been trash to me for a decade, so Idc how much it's selling.

LL had a 3 decade run. His legacy didn't cross to the young generation, which is unfortunate, but it doesn't affect how I feel about him overall.

I think he could rap his ass off, always had the upper hand in posse cuts. And the best moments in his music make me feel better than Em's best moments.

You a real one too. Agree to disagree

I love it but that's not what I'm talking about. He sounds confident. Just like he did in No Love for example. While normally these days he sounds insecure and trashes himself on records.
