I would never put LL in a top 10 best rappers of all time.
The rest of them are a little closer to the top 10. KRS-One especially.
LL was a beast.. one of my top legends in music all genres considered, exceeds hip hop..
Yeah. And insecure as f***. But every now and then he drops something like Rap God.
big TRASH song
LL disrespect
I'll take Momma Said Knock You Out and Mr. Smith over any Em album
No disrespect, but if you were to compare the two there’s no contest. A vast majority of today’s artists either look up to Em or have cited him as an influence in their music. Tbh I haven’t heard the same with LL. Not to mention, sales. Despite the music being borderline trash now, Em’s still selling a s***ton of records while LL is hosting Grammys. Shows you that people are still looking out for the music and haven’t left him behind like the majority of artists from the late 90s/early 2000s. You’re one of the realest mfs on this site but I stand by what I said lol
“White rappers had zero respect in rap before Em.”
Not to mention the constant Questlove praise the Beastie Boys get
It’s a shame Fight For Your Right stigmatized the Beastie Boys. Paul’s Boutique the Sgt Pepper of 80’s hip hop
But that's only cause his top 10 is full of 80's dudes. The same 80s dudes Em loves.
He's been with Dre for the last album and nothing great happened.
The pills helped him a lot, you can even see it when he performs or even gives interviews now.
Dre lowkey been washed musically the past decade but its okay because he gave us 20 years of great music and he hasnt been that active. Also, he wasnt even that much involved with Em last project, which tracks did he produce?

The intro
Lock It Up
Never Love Again
Little Engine
I think that's it?
He's made some of his best music without any of them idk what your talking about
huh, post 2009 all he has dropped been trash bro, literally everything
Well he’s much higher than snoop that’s for sure
Literally Snoop would be s*** without his producers. Dre & Pharrell gave him everything his personality is what got him this far

Any true fan of hip hop will prefer playing Doggystyle, Tha Chronic, 2001 and Snoop best songs before any of Em's music.

Snoop is an entertainer with a few classic tracks.
Eminem has 3 classics

The best song on 2001 was written by Eminem

I hear you. But at the same time.. Em's music has been trash to me for a decade, so Idc how much it's selling.
LL had a 3 decade run. His legacy didn't cross to the young generation, which is unfortunate, but it doesn't affect how I feel about him overall.
I think he could rap his ass off, always had the upper hand in posse cuts. And the best moments in his music make me feel better than Em's best moments.
You a real one too. Agree to disagree
Literally Snoop would be s*** without his producers. Dre & Pharrell gave him everything his personality is what got him this far
same thing can be said about Eminem, all his music been trash without his team from the 2000s
big TRASH song
I love it but that's not what I'm talking about. He sounds confident. Just like he did in No Love for example. While normally these days he sounds insecure and trashes himself on records.
