the mass appeal hip hop 50? s*** was announced 2 years in advance and they still haven’t put out more than the 2 EPs, i doubt they’ll ever finish it

They announced 9 EPs with a different producer/curator for each - volume 1 was Preemo, vol 2 was Swizz, then we were meant to get volumes from Mustard, No ID, The-Dream, can't remember who else

Haven't heard a peep since the Swizz volume though, so I assume it's never happening

Yeah if anything they should just cap off the year with the remaining 39 songs or whatever in a large celebratory compilation/playlist

Drip-feeding like this makes it impossible to drum up excitement 5-6 tracks at a time when the gaps have been as long as they have - there's just no hype overall.
