More than anything, they act obtuse about s*** and don’t speak objectively

Objectively speaking, Sean had a fine year with a number 1 album. This album did not have hits at all, which ironically proves the point that he doesn’t even need hits for relevancy.

Excluding the gods, how many rappers today breaking 100k in a pandemic without a chart topping single?

    how u defining a hit?

the nipsey song i think did aight.
same with body language and wolves

They definitely did alright but I’m assuming in comparison to like, IDFWU or like bounce back they weren’t close to that level of hit

Unless your name is drake rappers rn are having a hard time getting singles popping.

But I KNOW you'd be salty if I made a "Nicki is the only reason Ty Dolla $ign got his first top 40 solo hit in 7 years" thread for no reason other than to hate

That would be false though, Expensive bombed lol.

Didn’t single again and berzerk both go gold last year?

S*** can be a minor hit without being huge btw.

Going gold a year after release doesn't make something a hit at all

Cudi got the Trav x Ye stimulus package but now that I think about it Sean kinda got the same thing.

Either way this Album was important for Sean. He had to prove that he could rap at an elite level and also established the Don Life brand.
