Cudi called Kanye the goat on Twitter like 3 weeks ago and Kanye added Cudi as a late addition to Donda. Cudi recorded his verse for Moon and Remote control a few days before LP2 after talking with Ye. Im sure Kanye already knew Cudi was on CLB before LP2 ever happened.

The thing about not wanting the album dropped was clearly about DaBaby.

I would love to hear from both sides no cap. Although I feel it'll be more interesting to hear from Drake's perspective on how this Collab happened.

I haven’t even gotten to the Cudi track because it’s hard for me to get through the album and I don’t like skipping

I've been a drake fan since the beggining but honestly this album sounds so much like what he's done the past few times I ended up skipping right to the CuDi song after a few tracks.

Cudi would do almost anything for Dot. I feel like Dot had some links to producers from Drake's camp and ended up having a beat make the short-list for CLB

I feel like the biggest player - moreso than ye and trav is Dot.

And also Cudi letting go of the past for his own sake

I feel like one motivator for Cudi was that wanted to give Dot his blessing and secure that credit to Dot's portfolio while making a moment in the culture for the fans

Like ultimately, I am pretty confident a collab between cudi and drake would never have eventuated if the beat wasn't by Dot. Maybe past burnt bridges were alleviated thru Ye and Trav, but I feel like to this point Cudi had no desire or willingness to have anything more than neutrality with drake
