Dude said JIK didn’t impact the culture you said “OY SO PPL WERE ALWAYS RAPPING ABOUT JESUS IN MAINSTREAM?” When literally no one has started rapping about religion because JIK dropped meaning it had no impact. F***ing soupvillain

Bro he brought on other rappers/producers onto the album who you wouldn't find making gospel on a day to day.

benny blanco, Timbo, Pi’erre Bourne are all people who have now ventured their sound into new territories because of JIK

I get it you all listen to the same rappers with the same flow so its hard to see impact before someone else picks it up in the way you want rn.

The vocalists too, had a shift in their discogs with JIK this is def the biggest gospel album they've been apart.

He got the Sunday Service in action every for over a year now and that s*** just went international. If no one was f***ing with it he wouldn't be making all these moves and more

    culture shifting?

  • May 24, 2020

The only thing that would be cornier than Kanye adopting his 2017-2020 gimmick would be him giving it up now and pretending it never happened.

Yeah it shifted the culture into realizing Kanye makes bad music now

why do you think this lol.

He was doing it every week for more than a year and was working on expanding it for a while. It's one of, if not the, most dedicated he has been towards something.
