    Ok so it’s real

It’s a serious problem that we have to deal with, but no it’s not the end of the world.

We will overcome this as we have with past pandemics.

Yes. Also has been some cases where it has an effect on younger patients as well. Haven’t had one die yet but it could be imminent here in the US.

it’s not a HUGE deal for majority of people but it’s a big deal for those with weaker immune systems and older people because the risk is greater.

it’s mad because it’s asymptomatic and quite easily transferable. just because us younger more healthy people are better off doesn’t mean it’s not something dangerous for others

  • Mar 9, 2020

It is a really big problem for old people and it will have a negative affect on the economy but it won’t last forever. I don’t think it has reached its peak yet. My guess it will start dying down around mid May when the weather gets really hot.

  • Mar 9, 2020

it's overblown but a big deal none the less

the biggest affects it will have is on the economy

  • Wasn’t there a thread about 300 deaths in a day in Italy or sum? Lol

Tbh. There will be locldowns in america. If not, the healtcare system might collapse (too many sick people too fast, not enough beds, not enough medics, more people die). People forget that China started building a lots of hospitals/quarantine complexes in 10 days and they started they lockdowns when 500-600 were tested postive. Economy takes a huge hit. People will lose jobs. Not the end of the world tho but seems like most of the people have not got reality check yet, which is frustrating sometimes, they will sooner or later

Classified documents uncovered show that the US government expects over 94 million Americans to catch the virus

This means 1 out of every 3 people in the US will have the coronavirus

  • Mar 9, 2020

Yeah at least here in italy it's a huge problem, we dont have much room left for new cases in hospitals for example, plus schools are closed till april 3rd and the economy in general in some of the biggest cities like Turin, Milan and Venice are stagnating
