I guess it will sound lazy but I don't really like anything about it

The melodies aren't very memorable or catchy. He isn't a great singer and he doesn't have an interesting voice either. Nothing about the lyrics grabs me.

Their music sounds really polished but they need to work on writing better songs

I really dig the simplicity of his songs. You can pinpoint the obvious influences but he fuses them in such a way where it creates his own sound
