given their growth trajectory TDE's weird artist rotation schedule is gonna stop working as they continue to sign more artists without any of them ever matching the status of their biggest signees who get releases pushed in the name of keeping their rotation schedule. they have a backlog of releases but given their biggest artists are all joint deals (of which themselves tend to be split) it's unlikely the vast majority of their money is coming in the form of residuals. they're gonna have to shift to act more like a traditional label in their release schedule or at least push their bigger acts to release more often to support that roster. if not who knows, maybe their reserves and residuals are literally that big
