are internet nerds really an indication on when an album is actually good?

because most people enjoy Drake and Cole albums but on here they’re hated.

so let’s say the world enjoys something expect for hip hop elites.

what should be our indication for when an album is good? Nerds or the general public?

Yeah but they only bump it once or twice, call it trash and move on. Just like every other major artist who fell off but is still doing great commercially off the strength of his/her brand.

Nerds or not, I'll take into consideration an opinion from someone who's invested in the field and knows how to dissect it more than a casual. All the GOAT rappers and producers are somewhat "nerdy" anyway.
