I think those sleepovers are greatly exaggerated.
For example, MJs bedroom was huge. Mac Culkin explained what they were like.
But, MJ himself, knowing the world's eyes were on him, told the world he did this. If he was being sinister, had malicious intentions, he wouldn't have invited that pressure on him. If you were Jack the Ripper, it would be wrong, he said. But MJ was not that.
Children have sleepovers all the time. In MJs mind he saw no wrong in it, because he was doing no wrong. Obviously people who are sick minded refuse to believe that to be possible and the only use for a bed is sex, but that's not the case.
It was naive of him to do so, but because he had innocent intentions, people saw dollar signs and used that as a key point in extortion attempts, ignoring the fact that Eddie Cascio shared the room with the Arvizo's and Jackson, while MJ slept on the floor. Ignoring the other inconsistencies in their case.
In short, MJ had nothing to hide because he had innocent intentions and did no wrong. It was having fun and a chance to relive his childhood, the joys he never had. It's why he built Neverland, it's why he had water balloon fights, why he had the easter egg hunts, yet people only focus on sleeping with children, and turn it into something sinister.

Jan 10, 2020I’m not going to sit here in say that the s*** that went on at Neverland Ranch was acceptable, but it’s not criminal.
MJ had a f***ed up life and experienced s*** none of us could even imagine. There never had been and never will be anyone like Mike.
Dude was clearly f***ed up mentally and that definitely skewed his judgement, but I don’t believe he molested or raped anybody.
To me he was just a wealthy and influential person who lacked the social ineptitude to properly frame his public image later in life. Michael wasn’t a predator. He was an innocent soul that became the victim of an evil world.
