Its a complicated situation isn’t it? Mental health, propaganda, media manipulation, allegations, politics, ethics surrounding art etc. Why would you expect everyone to be on the same page on any one of these topics let alone on one man at the center of it all?

To answer your question, I’ve seen: people who care but are willing to give him another chance, people who care and have moved on from him, people who don’t care, people who actively root against “cancel culture” regardless of context, and his new nazi youth fans that he unfortunately picked up

Bottom line is people care about him for better or worse and that is never going to change as is the case with most influential people. We’re all on this site for a reason as frustrating as it is sometimes.

High school: find an online credential program and enroll in some classes when you have time. Eventually you'll need to stack some in-person hours to complete student teaching with an assigned mentor overseeing your work, but you can cross that bridge when you get to it.

College: get a graduate degree. If your university offers student teaching opportunities (my college had "supplemental instruction" courses that were overseen by students and qualified as teaching experience), you can use that to get your foot in the door for adjunct openings at local colleges. Another option is adult education, which doesn't have the prestige but can be a good starting point.

I completed my credential TWO WEEKS before covid hit California. It took 6 months for me to get a job, but I eventually found my place and love what I do. It's a cool job if the school is decent.
