y'all voted for Trump twice
people been separating art from the artists since the beginning of time, especially for massive legacy acts like Kanye
He just had to show some remorse and his mental health was clearly all over the place that he ended up attacking his own family. Which was very telling how bad he was
Maybe most regular folks just aren't p****'s and don't need to be fake angry, performative mfs on social media. Also, it helps that he's the greatest Artist to ever do it....

Yeah the community to get off those takes is Reddit. They love that smug self righteous s*** you do over there
Why is it self-righteous and smug to be against someone who praised Hitler?

Because most people realize that he is mentally ill and was in the middle of an episode. He’s now publicly acknowledged his bi polar and is taking his meds.

If Kanye could just mature a bit in the themes in his music he could make music that rivals some of the Beatles most heartfelt songs
Only One ft. Paul is the most "Beatles" Kanye song to me.
I'm a huge Beatles stan btw

wrong. kanye west has free will. it doesn't matter if he has a mental illness.
however, if kanye west said he was just playing a right-wing character like stephen colbert did when he was on the colbert report, then all can be forgiven

You’re wrong on many fronts.
1st, people don’t entirely have free will, 2nd, it’s like a known fact that being in a manic phase can cause someone to say and do things they wouldn’t have done with a clear mind.
i refuse to believe that mental illness impairs free will
what does free will matter if it's hidden behind a prism of mental illness? doesn't the mental illness kind of effect the free will

okay, fine. we live in a simulated reality. no one has free will.

"i refuse to believe that mental illness impairs free will"
"free will" doesn't exist when you're quite frankly morphed into another person because of your deep mental illness
personally I think he is a deeply flawed mentally ill man of addiction to substances + ego but he is the most vulnerable artist in recorded history who has shown some few promising steps to returning to creating art in a meaningful way while fixing the issues he created. and I will take him at face value for his apology because we can do nothing but hope for him to be well and use his influence positively.
Perfectly put
