Don’t worry supposedly it’s called climate change now
Wait until people find out the climate changed before the industrial age
yall get on here and say whatever
This aint the right thread but the conversation's already been started lol
Isn't climate change caused by emissions burning holes in the ozone layer? And didn't they say a couple months ago the ozone was repairing itself and was on track to be fixed in like 40 years or something? Does that mean climate change is ending? Or is there more to it?
I'm sorry if I sound like a f***ing idiot lmao, I never really learned how this all works
That’s where my parents are at. Im in SAn Diego for school tho
hows it like out there, thinking about finding a job out there after college

Need a climate scientist to come itt, but I’m pretty sure the phenomenon you’re referring to is separate from global warming.
Global warming is just simply human caused increased CO2 in the atmosphere causing a “greenhouse” effect where more heat from sunlight gets trapped beneath the atmosphere progressively as more CO2 is added. This increased heat results in extreme weather.

Hole in the ozone was almost entirely this a****** Thomas Midgley Jr' fault
Possibly alot of the wars and strife of last century was indirectly this guy's fault. Leaded gasoline did a number on us. Single-handedly lowered the IQ of the United States.

The hole in the ozone layer is separate, although technically it was climate change. In the 80s scientists found that certain chemicals like chlorofluorocarbons present in aerosols were causing the layer to deplete. As a result these chemicals were banned worldwide and the ozone layer started recovering.
Climate change is a very broad term and could be anything from deforestation to strip mining to water pollution, anything that messes with our climate. The main thing on peoples minds in a modern context is the buildup of gases like CO2 and methane in our atmosphere. These gases (as far as I know) don’t disrupt the ozone layer, they instead trap heat that normally would bounce off the earth and back into space. Causing average worldwide temps to go up slightly. These average temps going up are having wide ranging effects that don’t just include hotter summers, they’ve been messing with weather in general by doing things like changing wind patterns.
They gassing it
They did. I understand that experiences will vary based on where you live but here in San Diego by the beach, it was literally just rain for a half day and it hasn't been raining since last evening. They made it sound like it was the blizzard of the century or something. Temperatures dropped to 50F... They consider that cold here.

Damn thank you bro, appreciate the knowledge
