Theres too much internal conflict at TDE rn. Older artists wanna leave, a whole bunch of weird signing choices that they dont know how to push, and half their camp is being encouraged to do A&R work and start subsidiary labels which is causing them to compete over limited resources. Also it seems like they took a pretty big hit when Dave Free left. Their creative direction hasnt been the same since
