what made you think this needed to be bumped
cause i felt like talking about how cole's album lowkey came and went for me and it's better bumping this than to create a new one. ppl love to spam new threads for nothing
i feel this way about all album releases this year and the last few years, including the new cole. it was nice on first listen but it just isn't getting any replay value from me. idk if it's cause of how i feel about music nowadays, i can't explain it. But a lot of music just comes and goes now. i think it's the over-saturation of music and artists, flooding us with s***, not letting us digest it properly.
Streaming has ruined the way many consume music.
Do you stream? If so I’d say that’s the reason.

It just was very average. Nothing really worth going back to constantly
It's 2021 if singles arent pushed you wouldn't see it everywhere like the real mainstream albums. Judge the album sales to really see if it came and went. That would show if people are still listening
“Came and went” threads should be instantly locked imo
"“Came and went” threads should be instantly locked when they're targeting one of my favourite artists imo"
Never not funny when a nigga make a trash thread and just ignore all the responses

Facts. Cause most of the time it’s just someone letting us know how out of touch they are.

i do. agree with you. i really miss the cd era.

search "came and went" in the music sxn, see how many stupid threads are flooded in here. it's embarrassing.

Even though I’m a fan of J Cole these threads literally have no basis. Look at OP’s post there’s nothing in there that supports this buzz phrase that people love to throw around on here

Y’all just got short attention spans

Lowest common denominator of threads tbh. No thought provoking insight or conversation just a vague opinionated statement

That’s why I’m so reluctant to switch over
Still on the iPod classic because I can sit with albums for a while. Instead of having access to millions at once.

that may be true, but don't class me with "yall". i'm the guy who goes back to listen to old music. as for cole, maybe it was just a phase that lasted longer than it should have, cause i think i'm over his music now. or like jim said, streaming has something to do with it. too much music at my disposal
decent album. most ive listened to a cole album since born sinner. but it's cole. nothing groundbreaking

This is true to some degree, alot of popular albums these days bring nothing new to the table. They are like trends now. But wait till your fave drops or you discover new music you like I guarantee you'd put it on repeat.
