y’all act like Frank isn’t one of the most influential singer-songwriters of the past 10 years. he, along with The Weeknd, almost single-handedly shaped the current rnb landscape. that’s mad influence

the fact that he only has 2 albums and 2 mixtapes is irrelevant to the discussion imo. but if it were relevant, then I think that makes his influence and popularity even more impressive. and even outside of his solo discography, he’s written for and done great work with other artists

that being said, I see why people would prefer Future but most seem to be doing so purely on the basis of quantity > quality

I listened to Frank all the f***ing time for like 2 years and now I never listen to him.

I'm in a better, more mature space now so that's probably why.

Also I think he tries really hard to be cool all the time and I can see through it now.
