Mr StingThatâs cause this isnât a comeback. This internet era is basically the fast food era, everything is temporary even the backlash, specially when everyone was pointing their fingers at the wrong guy. Big corporations will pay for the Astroworld tragedy, not Travis.
Think about it, weâre calling this a comeback when itâs only been 6 months and heâs popped out at a few events in between. He hasnât been gone long enough for this to be as big a deal as people want it to be.
I donât think it was a comeback performance.. at the same time Iâm still trying to figure out the purpose of my this exhibition performance. I know his team is extremely intentional but I watched it and I was like.. âuhh whyyâ. is he trying to gauge the GP reception of him? Will this be a one off and he disappears for another 6 months? Start of a rollout? I checked and he wasnât nominated for anything, wasnât a tribute and the singles heâs working in this performance is dead on arrival when released in 2021
He jus seemed out of place and it made the performance awkward to me..

Goes to show how much not liking to show face at spectacles like this can basically result in you alienating yourself from the mainstream fake Hollywood pop side of the industry which is ideal but seem obviously fake and forced whenever you do show up, music industry politics are a double edged sword.

I think him seeming out of place is due to him acting like he was above these award shows for so long and now heâs just happy to perform wherever he can, shows like this were probably on their knees asking him to perform around the 2019 era just so they could be able to say his name in the ads leading up to it.

Nah the best Travis would be a Travis who isnât worried about the mainstreams opinion of him or his music
Cactus Jack as a brand is big enough where he can afford to experiment musically and not flop or lose money, heâs been too invested in the whole âwhenever I drop itâs gotta be a month long spectacleâ mindset and itâs tarnished his creativity
He needs to be hungry again like he was on Rodeo but also needs to have the creative freedom mindset he had on OP, he doesnât need a hit record to be relevant
