I promise you, you can combat homophobia and bigots without comparing the LGBT struggle to the black struggle. Especially when there's sections of the LGBT that can be racist at times.

Nov 4, 2019i have no hate in my heart for gay or trans community, admittedly used to judge them but i was immature. at the end of the day they are human beings and we can never forget that.
with that being said y'all have GOT to stop comparing gay/trans issues to race issues. Gay/trans have a choice. Not saying its an easy choice, i can only imagine how hard that would be.
but you CAN choose not give in to your homosexual urges and you CAN choose to remain the gender you were born as and not have a s***change. you can choose to avoid all the strife that comes with being openly gay or having a s***change. Again not saying its an easy choice whatsover. But the fact of the matter is you have a choice.
Whatever skin color/race you were born that's it for you, now you have to go through life and deal with whatever comes with that. Even if you bleach your skin as a black person the features are still there, you not fooling anybody lol
again i have no hate or judgement towards gays/trans. i think its awful that people who call themselves christians have shamed and judged y'all to the point of killing yourselves and hurting yourselves. but y'all got to stop comparing your struggle to the struggle of racism. your struggle is YOUR struggle. it is struggle but to compare it to racism is just wrong and disrespectful.
Also to specifically compare it to the black civil rights movement is WILD disrespectful seeing how y'all weren't enslaved, raped, and de-humanized for 400 years and then for the next 150 years had to figure out how to live in peace with the ancestors of your oppressors
I'm not is saying y'all don't struggle. I'm not saying your struggle is insignificant compared to racism. But don't ever play yourself and think its the same or similar to the black american struggle or any struggle based on race.
