It's very likely that Vory did a demo of time flies and one of the lines that Drake kept was the angel one.

1) The idea of Drake taking ONE line from a writer is silly

2) The Idea of Vory cheffing an entire song for drake is silly. He's went into detail numerous times about how serious his pen is. People at this point are being purposely obtuse when it comes to Drake's pen and him not writing his records.

I remember a leaked drake dm all the way back in 2009 or 2010 texting someone 'they want me to redo the second verse, i need that changed' or something in that regard. Kenza, Hush etc also help or helped him in the past. It is what it is. At the end of the day hes the one thats putting these tracks together and adding his own twist to them. They wouldnt hit like this without him. See how trash those quintin & pnd demos sound without Drake reworking them

I mean some people are not fans of Drake to the degree that I am, so I probably pay attention to his career too closely lol

But he's been very transparent with his writing process. In the fader, he specifically says that sometimes he needs something to help him start a verse, a concept, something and he just takes it and runs with it. That's fairly typical. Getting demos, seeing what direction a writer took the song, and then going off of his brainstorm is not writing for someone, it's a common practice.

Writing FOR someone and writing WITH someone isn't the same.
