Sounds like you're trying to convince yourself more than him. If he really won why is it even still up for discussion? Why were his stans on instagram harassing a kid over a birthday cake? Where is the receipts of Drake talking to the police? That doesn't sound like much of a victory. Sounds like Kenny left yall hanging with the baggage hoping yall would find the proof for him
If Biden really won the election why is it still debated

put some extra sauce in the bag bro, i like a lot of ranch.
He hasn't had a real solo hit in ages, his features aren't impactful anymore and don't move any type of needle for the artist he's collabing with, and his chart impact is dwindling across the board weekly.
You Broke My Heart was a top 10

Larry Jackson wasn't lying about Drakes back catalog streaming better than all of 80s and 90s music. This is insane.
Culture is feeling him lil homie. Log off and go outside so you can see for yourself
Hip Hop is where this battle was decided and Hip Hop hates Drake and they will always do because he broke the genre and its rules and became successful doing so.
Streams represent the overall fans not only hip hop fans. That would be the counter argument.
Its a fascinating time and it speaks on how important diversity of your fan base is when you take a L.

if you notice, critics of rap music never liked Drake. Even if you look at the reviews of his initial albums. They ALWAYS hated him.
we’ll see after the video for NLU drops…and I have a sneaking suspicion it’ll be …very bad for Drake. And I’ve been a fan since 2007.
so what‘s the verdict
so what‘s the verdict
they spared him, all things considered.
but drake is in a major hole right now. Some of it is irrational, hypocritical, and outright malicious, but he’s down bad right now and many dont want him to win or thrive.
so what‘s the verdict
Drake is uneliminated
You Broke My Heart was a top 10
It debuted and peaked at #11 on the Hot 100. Flew right down and off the charts shortly thereafter. Any Drake project is going to have a few songs chart high solely off of the numbers he debuts with and the playlisting he gets upon any release. A very high majority of his songs have flown right back down and/or off the chart shortly after release. He hasn't had a sticking and longevity hefty song in the longest now... Like a God's Plan or Nice for What I mean.

“Breakin' speed records on roads that these niggas paved. And they don't like that, it's written all on they face“
This thread is going to be very interesting over the next 6-12 months.
Do I think there was some behind the scenes politics and alliances that conspired this beef? Yes.
The entire purpose of the “Elimination of Drake” was to tame the beast. Drake is going to be an ever-present fixture in music whether people like it or not.

I mean First Person Shooter and Rich Flex had staying power and we not boutta pretend J Cole and 21 Savage helped him have those hits when neither got charting power like Drake does. I do agree that he hasn't had a strong solo hit like Gods Plan or Nice for What in quite some time now though.
I have insider information Drake will
be behind bars by the end of the year
Elimination of Drake IS and WILL be successful
