address the fact that the guy make with ghostwriters put out 9 flops in a row in multiple genres

It's many niggas with more songs than Drake who aren't doing his numbers but it's okay, keep crying

It’s the beginning of a decline that will probably take 2 or so years to hit rock bottom. The narrative and reputation surrounding Drake and his music has changed, and the narrative is the most important thing.

In an alternate timeline where the beef never happened, he released the same post-beef tracks under less pressure from the loss to standard hit record perception. But with all of the predator and character allegations, everything he does is being met with a microscopic level of judgement and criticism that he has never known before… and I don’t see that stopping anytime soon.

In gaming, there is a thing called the “Nintendo bonus” where they receive an extra 10-15 points in review scores for anything they release by proxy of being a Nintendo product, and Drake had a similar buff to everything he made, receiving way more credit than what most bodies of work of his truly deserved - but we can see that is beginning to wan.

This narrative doesn't work because y'all been saying Drake's decline started years ago.

    Go cope somewhere else

Kendrick wouldn't be up there even if he had the same amount of songs. Proof of that is Travis vs Kendrick. They almost got the same amount of songs yet Travis clears him in the numbers for all time streams and even daily streams nowdays

    Travis: 33m streams yesterday
    Kendrick 28m streams yesterday

    I heard this in 2017

if drake gets out of this universal deal and returns to creative depths, he might be OK

Having more songs doesn't equal more streams.
What a little kid way to look at data. I have to write this much because y'all say stuff like he has more songs it's dumb to compare. If you bothered to look at the convo I didn't bring up number they decided to say half of Drake numbers come from features I proved thats not true and proved that Kendrick and Drake lead, solo and features make up similar amounts of their discography streams.

    Wayne 500 Songs, 30B
    Thug 500 songs, 24B
    Drake 487 songs, 101B
    Kendrick 230 songs, 37B
    J. Cole 223 songs, 25B
    XXX 169 songs, 35B
    Kanye 393 songs, 47B
    Eminem 403 songs, 49B
    Yelawolf 260 songs, 1.8B

As far as I know Drake doesn't have a ghost writer, maybe you do lmk.

    Hell no 💀

In fact I’d say the momentum is going for him in ways it hasn’t in years

He’s used multiple ghostwriters across his career. And just because someone is credited doesn’t mean that they aren’t a ghost writer. Idk where that cope started

A credited writer is someone who receives credit for their work, while a ghostwriter is someone who writes for another person without receiving credit

Hope this helps been that way since the 60s in all genres.

That’s not true. A ghost writer by definition is simply someone who writes something that is used by someone else.

Ok, the ghost writer wouldn't be credited that's why they are a ghost writer. That's why the hip hop ghosts talk about writing for people and verses but never say who.

It's not a route. It's been this way since Motown and the 60s can you name an instance of a person not being credited?

“ A ghostwriter providing this type of service may be thanked, without reference to the service provided, in the album credits, or they may be a true 'ghost', with no acknowledgement in the album.”

The term “ghostwriter” covers all scenarios

Yeah you can. Most people know who was writing for those Motown artists. It’s not a secret
