Lol cmon man the dude is talented

I think hes as good as the people he works with. His writers do a bulk of the lifting and I don’t find it to be a problem but where I find it to be a problem is that he tries to hide it.

Drake gonna make music from the jail cell

    A stupid and lazy take.

I think they did to humble Drake. He’s the only with this much star power beside Taylor Swift.
But how you got Hot97, Rolling Stone magazine, Elliot from RapRadar, Jack Dorsey, (without mentioning the rappers) against you? It’s the industry abandoning Drake

Why would “the industry” want to humble Drake? Why not T Swift as well then?

A publication saying Drake lost the battle isn’t some crazy character assassination. He did lose

bro got his talking points from the joe budden podcast he can't tell u why he thinks this

  • May 14, 2024

Maybe Drake will make better music after this

  • May 14, 2024

He definitely loss the beef, ain’t no two ways about that. As far as “elimination of Drake” idk. Time will tell, his image has taken a hit. We’ll see how that will affect his career. I think he’ll still do big numbers, just look at Drake section, your average Drake fan still doesn’t think he actually lost.

    Ross definitely failed Fat L
Riri & Rocky still living a loving life W
Kendrick no need to explain W
Metro 👀 weird tweets my boii just say you were young but sus Ima wait for him
Future Took a W releasing his double album 💿
    Nav 👀 idk
Weeknd Still on the same boat so idk about L or W
Drake took the biggest L tho only hiphop heads and industry people knew about his little endeavors now the public knows and Drake will bounce back but buddy ain’t patient at all and I think at the end he will pay his own price for it …. I just wanted a Cole Dot & Drake record if I’m being honest We took an L too

    What did Nav do?

I agree. This was definitely the industry teaching Drake a quick lesson.

But his career is in no way in shambles.

If anything, this whole situation should let the industry know that Drake isn’t going nowhere.

  • May 14, 2024

this just cemented another run from drake that will last until 2030

  • May 14, 2024

    Drake likes em young

Can anyone itt tell me why the industry wants to “humble” their golden boy that has created immense value for like 15 years?

Keeping in mind he’s one of the biggest artists with a titanic contract at the biggest record label..

Like if he was pushing towards independence or bucking the system in any way sure.. but he’s locked in to UMG. What’s the incentive? Who is the “industry” if not the biggest record label?

Maybe the term “industry” is too broad.

I’d reduce it to all the entities that have some sort of static with Drake.

Roc nation, XO, TDE, PG Lang. And then when you add in the likes of Rick Ross, Future, Metro, Rocky it’s a recipe of disaster.

That UMG deal definitely inflated Drakes ego. From Certified Lover boy all the way to For all the dogs the boy was being reckless by dissing people out of nowhere.

    He created to many enemies.

Yea I agree with that, but that’s way different than some industry wide conspiracy lol

Diss people and they don’t like you, crazy revelations

Song has one really good beat, a f*** ton of dad jokes and a nuclear allegation that didn't do the damage that was expected

It could have taken out Meek or Big Sean but it's middle of the pack in this great beef

Family Matter is ass. He wasted the opening verse by shouting out guys that aren’t even on his side

Big 3/Big D bar is cringeworthy

    Money Trees bar was weak

Slaves line was terrible and it backfired

Dave Free s*** was lame and not believable

He dissed Michael Jackson for no f***ing reason.

Not to mention so many bars aging like milk or being proven wrong. What a mess of a diss track.
