I had SSLP on day 1 in grade 8 and Em was like the Beatles to us all through high school.

Was also the biggest Em hater for a good couple decades for everything he did after 8 Mile but I actually kinda love his new album and regularly defend it now lol.

But yeah he was objectively already turbo trash when I first saw him in 2004 and even worse when I saw him a decade later.

Never thought I would see a better concert than White Stripes in '03, Bowie in '04, Arcade Fire in '07, Springsteen in '08, Neil Young in '09 but Ye and Jay were truly god level when I saw them. We actually saw Prince the night before WTT in the same venue and even he didn't blow my mind like Throne did. Jay was also excellent with Timberlake in '13.
