  • Kanye just running for president alone is dangerous at this point going off the last few interviews alone he would just be an alt right megaphone. It terrifies me more than Desantis tbh

If you’re black and kept listening to his music after all that blame yourself

Jews got nothing to do with your lack of values or self control

Slavery was a choice was said once then almost immediately walked back, he been on an anti-Jew tirade for about 2 weeks straight now, not to mention the Hitler stuff Ryder & Azealia brought up

Y’all were still buying the clothes and calling the nigga misunderstood after the fact so I don’t wanna hear it.

Hmm it's pretty strange that the WLM s*** was a day or two before the Jewish stuff. He copped A LOTTTTT of hate for WLM but STILL NOTHING compared to this. Kinda a crazy coincidence for people to finally be over his s*** when he talks down on Jews but not Mocking BLM just a day before. Go off tho,

he was kinda able to explain the WLM thing to an extent that was decent enough to not have major repercussions (although any idiot with half a brain could tell it was the same bullshit of Ye pandering to white supremacists for his delusional presidential run), but there was no “maybe he meant..” about the antisemitic stuff

Well certain corporations and agencies still produced the clothes and had him signed. I’ll just leave that little tidbit there.

This. Kanye lost not a single sponsor or dollar during those incidents. If anything his revenue avenues grew

No there should always be a conversation as to why. Why was there so much inaction then compared to now?

  • Oct 25, 2022

if adidas dropped him over the slavery is a choice bs (and as has been said he did proceed to walk this back somewhat and not stay on the same topic for literal weeks) then the same ppl calling out apparent hypocrisy here would be saying it was racist or some s*** lol

The white holders of power in these
industries only care about money at the end of the day.

Jewish consumers will take their business elsewhere at the slightest hint of antisemitic rhetoric, much less what we’ve seen the in the past few weeks.

A lot of niggas (i’d include myself in that tho i’ve been pirating Ye music forever and don’t own Yeezys) didn’t do the same when they had the chance

Niggas also aren’t in unity or control of these major brands so there’s that.

It’s probably because he’s black himself

I think he’s getting a little bit of leeway on the Jewish stuff if anything. You would probably see a similar or more intense response if someone like Leonardo DiCaprio or Justin bieber started ranting and raving about hating black people on every podcast without using dog whistles

What did he lose other than the support of the black community?

    Maybe true. But:

    Hip-hop radio stations or playlist
curators continued to play his music

Black rappers continued to collab him

Black producers still produced for him

Black designers still decided to work at or with Yeezy

Black influencers still went to the Donda shows and modelled his clothes

Black controlled rap outlets and instagram pages still covered his music, fashion and politics and family drama rather than boycotting him
