Well it's not that big of a deal if you're just appreciative of music as a whole

it should be pretty well established that carti is heavily influenced by thug, as are most of the younger generation

funny how it works though. a lot of the kids dont know about thug, and see carti as the main influence for a lot of the even newer artists (yeat, opium, etc). similarly thug was waynes son. music really is just a big ass family tree where everyone takes from others, nothing wrong with it
