in all honesty all of his projects don’t really sound all too good in 2022. they’ve aged poorly even stoney i gave a spin and the only song i was feeling at all was that go flex one

Jun 10, 2022Thelonelyboner410I loved post since day 1, but his albums get worse and worse. Stoney was great. B&b was good, but not as great. Hollywood bleeding was alright, but nothing special or different and a step down from b&b. Then we get 12Ct and its probably worse than Hollywood bleeding. Songs like wrapped around your finger sounds like something a huge label would want. We are 4 albums deep and nothing has been as experimental as stoney. Production and hooks was top notch on stoney. I just think its crazy that post is making songs like wrapped around your finger which sounds like a copy of some of his older songs. I just think post would've done a folk or some type of s*** out side the box, but the last three albums were so safe.
before he blew up big and even after he had white iverson but before he was a proven hitmaker with Stoney, Post was just a dude on soundcloud doing whatever he wants. but now that he's one of the label's biggest cash cows, its a regulated job that he doesn't really enjoy
I think his fame and his label situation has just been draining to him. They blew him up but I think they push him intensely in terms of touring and it stresses his body and health, if it were up to him a lot of his career would probably have gone different. I like all his albums but I don't believe he has had the same passion for music in a while because so many people are telling him what to do

Cap. I love post, but they use so much effects on his voice. Post constantly jokes about how much auto tune his producers use to make himself right. He doesn't even need s ton of auto tune, but they go all out on post.

Jun 10, 2022honestly i listen to the album in full a few times (which i rarely have the attention span to do for anything anymore) and it sounds perfectly fine, not distinguishable from the last couple albums (which were also pretty good)
I guess no top tier pop songs on there that grip you like Better Now but it seems like perfectly standard post to me

I gave it a thorough listen because I thought I would find at least one or two jams to add to my liked songs playlist
Unfortunately it largely feels like one long song of slow tempo crooning. Like legit almost every song feels the same.

Zack From The SixLabel is holding him back. Post is up there with best if we are talking about ability, he's that guy. This flop will lead to the label giving him more freedom. Redemption season incoming.

Yeah i dont see him being his true self till hes off it. He gives off such exhausted vibes in his interviews. When zane mentioned he looked good in the interview lol I think it was cap, because he just looked tired and not exactly in love with the music like he says he is again.
