i definitely think the current prosecution system in the US is ridiculous and subject to change, but i'm always curious as how ideally people think criminal justice/general court systems (or lack thereof) should be reformed specifically

the idea of electoral judges in the US is weird even within teh US itself since not every state actually does it and it's not for every judicial position. much like the rest of the US political structure, it's a legal inconsistency outside of the vacuum it exists in
