Lmfao they have no real skills, no real prospects, and are 80k in debt for a cultural studies degree. definitely get involved practically in whatever ways you can! practice is the only way to truly learn anything about the nature of our material reality. id also recommend taking a look at some of mao's essays like on practice, where do correct ideas come from, learn about how to mass line, and read up on lenin's state and revolution for if you are looking for how to develop a good practical basis on how to approach practical work with organizations critically.
also definitely check out blackshirts & reds as a good starting basis on how to perceptibly conceptualize what "left" and "right" mean. good luck and take your time it's a really interesting experience learning about all of these things for the first time and parsing through a lifetime's worth of programming.

Reading “Notes on Resistance,” on the topic of Iran’s openness to a WMD-free zone in the Middle East Chomsky says it’ll never happen because we’d need to inspect Israel’s nuclear program and acknowledge their nukes existence, but if we did we’d have to cease aid to Israel under our own law. Can anyone tell me why that is/when we established that as law? Obviously US breaks its own laws all day long but only when it’s in their best interest. Just curious

We’re in a “post-neoliberal” stage right now, it seems to be petty-bourgeois populist nationalism on both the social-democratic left and right in America
