after reading a bunch of reddit threads of anarchist and ML just throwing a tantrum at each other i’m tired of just being an online leftist @Sinewave i know ur involved in ur communities leftist groups how did i get involved? Also i guess a question i have for @lilyth_ in my personal opinion North Korea and China are currently revisionist do you have any literature that argues against that point or do you agree? Also i guess one more question for ML and one my biggest questions for ML is how to prevent revisionist from taking power which we saw happened in the soviet union with Khrushchev and Deng in China (which i guess is still debatable among the left), the purges and cultural revolution didn’t work cause the revisionist took power. I really like the idea of the cultural revolution just need to do it with a lot less murder and and make it more controllable.

Me and others started our own here. We didn’t have s*** for the left before then. We conducted social investigation, identified what problems the community was having, and took action to try and address them and that’s how we established ourselves. Sorry I know that is not an easy solution, but sometimes you just got go out there and do it when there is nothing else. We’ve been able to develop a serious counter balance to landlord power and help feed our neighborhoods in 4 years time. It just takes time and patience. I’m happy to answer in more detail if you have more specific questions

As for the rest of your post that is a long answer haha. I have a lot of literature I can provide on why China is revisionist and social-fascist if you are interested.

As far as preventing that from happening, the answer is Cultural Revolution. The masses have to be unleashed on the Party after it gains power, as the Party inherently generates a new class of petite bourgeois bureaucrats sadly, and this can only be combatted by directly and militantly confronting all backwards social practices in our society after socialism takes power, since the superstructure lags behind the economic base. Again a big topic, but I can provide some resources if you’d like.

Sorry this is sparse, hanging with a friend rn. But like I said I’m happy to provide resources and more specific answers if you have anything you’d like to learn more about.

oh no worries enjoy ur time with ur friend, i agree with you on the china part since this is a left unity place just wanted to see the opinion of dengist if there is any here. Mao is on my reading list after i’m done with a couple of Lenin books, got interested in Mao recently cuz of the Naxalites after i went through digging on the history of communism in my home country. IDK any other leftist irl which i guess would make it tough i did help a Rogen Bro get more friendly towards socialism but i won’t call him a socialist. I live near Toronto it shouldn’t be too hard to find a leftist organization just wish it was in the city i live in the closest i found was a progressive make weed legal group on my campus a few years back.

(Not the same as the horrible American RCP at all lmao, two completely diff things. PCR-RCP is really great and has done a ton of excellent work, and they’re highly involved in the International Communist Movement)
