Amin was not a CIA asset, this is just lousy conspiratorial journalism. generally speaking I disagree with the idea that the PDPA was incompetent or that their reforms were unpopular with the Afghani masses due to "purges".
this is why I encourage people to engage with stuff from the era or the stuff written by Shola Jawid from the present day, it mostly avoids the deplorable a***ysis of Afghani pseudo-Maoists from the 80s.
also I'm not the biggest fan of PSL's media but they've written good stuff specifically on Afghanistan.

bro I am Palestinian. my family lost their land during the Nakba and were forced to move to the US. I am disconnected from my people and just finished beating a case I caught at a protest which kept me off the streets for months. what I said was he could've additionally damaged military hardware or fragged his C.O. a la what GIs did in Vietnam. if you see that as "chronically online larping" or encouraging a "mass shooting" then youre truly just projecting.
